SPEED EXPO change in ownership, same quality you have come to expect!

Since 2004, when Terry Young organized the inaugural Midwest Sped Expo, each year as the snow flies the Midwest has grown accustomed to attending the show to catch up with a number of the industry leading manufacturers, sanctioning bodies, racing promoters and industry leaders in the field. This is where the racers can pick up new and used parts, discuss rule changes with local tracks and the united Midwestern Promoters sanctioning body, purchase their annual licenses and have a few cold ones as well as sample some great food and camaraderie with their fellow racers.

The show has been sold to Hoosier Tire Midwest to insure the longevity of the future of the event. Terry will still be involved in the pre-show activities in his role at Hoosier, dealing with the vendors and coordinating the activities leading up to the show, the same quality that you have grown to expect from the show over the years will continue under the new ownership. Kelly Kovski will take over the role as Show Coordinator and will handle the day to day activities at the show.

Terry Young would like to thank each of the vendors who have supported the show over the last 16 years, many of them who have been a part of the show from it’s inception. The faith that you have place din my ability is appreciated and I assure you the show will continue to provide the same quality that you have expected from us.

The United Midwestern Promoters will continue to host their championship banquets in Springfield. We encourage you while you are in town, if you have the opportunity, check out our Route 66 attractions as well as the legendary historic Abraham Lincoln sites.
